Overview

The Chelsea at a glance

The Chelsea is a glossy gold detangling brush for people who like their brush to look good on the dressing table as well as in their hair. Under the shine it does the same job as the Camden. Use it on long or short hair, afros and weaves, wet or dry, and let the teeth gently unwind knots and tangles. Go for the Chelsea if you want gold. If you'd rather have the original, pick the Camden.

Best for

  • A brush that looks good on show
  • Afros, weaves, long or short hair
  • Wet or dry hair

How to use

  1. Part off a section you can hold comfortably.

  2. Brush from the ends, moving up a little at a time.

  3. Go gently over knots instead of pulling straight through.

  4. Afterwards, remove loose hair, wash the brush in warm soapy water and towel dry. Keep it away from prolonged heat.

Questions

Is the Chelsea a gold detangling brush?
Yes. The Chelsea is the glossy, glamorous London Locks detangler, and it comes in gold. Under the shine it's a working detangling brush for long or short hair, afros and weaves, and you can use it on wet or dry hair.
Does the Chelsea work on weaves?
Yes, the Chelsea can be used on a weave or an afro, as well as on long or short hair. Brush the ends first, work upwards and go gently near the roots so you are not tugging at the weave.
Should I choose the Chelsea or the Camden?
Choose on looks. The two brushes are described in exactly the same terms for hair type and for wet or dry use. Pick the gold Chelsea for the shine, or the Camden, the original London Locks brush, if you'd like a choice of colours.
